The dream of a dream
I saw a dream two nights ago that I can’t seem to shake off. The instructions to share it with the world weighs strongly on my heart. And I can’t seem to rest till I share it. So, out of faith I share it.
I dreamt of Jacob’s dream of a ladder between earth and heaven. I dreamt of Jacob’s ladder. I knew it was Jacob’s ladder because it looked like what I had seen in the illustrated Bible as a child.
This is the dream.
I saw Jacob’s ladder. It was shining white with a blinding white light at the top. Then, I saw the shining white steps of the ladder fall forward like a set of dominoes. And the blinding white light that was on the top of the ladder (that I assumed to be God) come down with its fall to the level of the earth. And a voice spoke into my head saying, “God has come down to man!” and I thought to myself, ‘Is Jacob’s ladder, the Christ?’ And then I woke up.
